John Maud (bishop)
John Primatt Maud (1860–1932) was the second Bishop of Kensington from 1911 until his death 21 years later.〔“Who was Who” 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 0-7136-3457-X〕 He was born on 13 June 1860 and educated at Keble College, Oxford.〔The Times, Friday, Oct 28, 1887; pg. 10; Issue 32215; col D '' University Intelligence. Oxford, Oct. 27 Award of M.A.''〕 Ordained in 1887 his first post was at St John the Evangelist, Westminster. From 1890 he was Vicar at Chapel Allerton, and from 1904 until 1911 St Mary, Redcliffe, Bristol.
